'During the past months having spent more time than ever at home in solitude, I became increasingly aware of people passing by my kitchen window whilst I was washing up at the sink. Many faces became familiar, including one curious neighbour in particular. These interactions through the window pane are so fleeting. You really do blink and you miss them. Like many machines which have minimised / replaced human interaction, I wonder if I would have shared any smiles through my kitchen window if I had head my head down, loading a dishwasher?'
